Aiding Health

Aiding Health

Late Dr. Shivani Bhatt, being a doctor herself, was keen to work for the health of the not so fortunate and she had provided her services in quite a few health camps in her short career. We, at Dr Shivani Bhatt Charitable Foundation (SBCF) plan to continue her work in whatever way we can.

We have already conducted several Menstrual Hygiene Classes wherein young girls are given sanitary napkins. A Cervical Cancer Vaccination Camp was held in June 2020 wherein around 200 school girls were vaccinated for cervical cancer. Free OPD on every Thursday is being run in Astha Surgical Hospital, Anand by Dr Hemant Bhatt in memory of Dr Shivani. Free Checkups and Treatment of slum children of the nearby areas is being done on a regular basis. Programmes to reduce Anaemia have been conducted. It includes detection of anaemia and treating it with iron tablets and anti worm medicines.
