DR. SHIVANI BHATT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION (SBCF) is formed in the loving memory of the angel that we knew as Shivani. She tragically lost her life on 31st October 2019 at USA. A brilliant academic life was thus cut short and to commemorate her memory this trust was established
No child of my country should be uneducated and unhealthy was Shivani’s dream. This foundation is helping the underprivileged to get better education and is providing them aids for improving their health. Helping out differently-abled children, providing preowned medical books free of cost to needy students, doing training of teachers, felicitating meritorious students & providing Observership overseas are also part of SBCF’s projects.
We at Dr. Shivani Bhatt Charitable Foundation (SBCF) are keen to fulfill Shivani’s dreams and thus education of the underprivileged is one of our prime projects.
Mission Pink Health is a project launched in 2019 by Women’s Doctors’ Wing (WDW) of Indian Medical Association (IMA) all over India.
Late Dr. Shivani Bhatt, being a doctor herself, was keen to work for the health of the not so fortunate and she had provided her services in quite a few health camps in her short career.
They need support to improve their quality of life, help them gain confidence & self esteem and ease their re-entry into the community.
SBCF shares Dr Shivani Bhatt’s vision of an educated and healthy India especially its youth and younger children. Keeping her vision as the prime focus, the foundation has kept Health and Education as its main mission.
SBCF has started its overseas OBSERVERSHIP PROGRAMME, in which it helps, assists and guides medical aspirants from all over India for observerships in USA with the help and guidance of our overseas friends. These services of SBCF are absolutely free of cost and are solely intended to help meritorious students. Also, SBCF has started SBCF LENDING LIBRARY, in which it provides pre owned medical books free of cost to needy medical & paramedical students.

Education is the foundation of any country. We, at SBCF plan to provide educational help to the underprivileged and deserving students right from primary school, high school and at college level too. Giving help to needy students in the form of cash & kind have already been started. SBCF has adopted 15 underprivileged girl students and is supporting them financially and medically. SBCF has started a very successful project STUTI (Shivani Teachers Undertaking Training Initiative), which incorporates training of teachers in various subjects by highly qualified, experienced & renowned faculties
Shivani Bhatt, an excellent medical student, rotated with me in Memorial Hermann Hospital for Hematology consults in Jan. 2019. She is the only medical student whom I gave “honors” to during my final evaluation. Extremely enthusiastic & motivated student, she also seemed to be intelligent and ambitious in vigorous pursuit of her dreams.
Shivani easily integrated with her team in Medical ICU at Cleveland during her clinical rotation and she was very involved in Management of her patients. She had excellent medical knowledge and marked interest in learning, motivation in participating in patients’ discussion and persistent desire to build on her clinical skills.
Shivani impressed me with her maturity in synthesizing and processing of complex clinical information which was reflected in her assessment and treatment plans. She came across as a self motivated, hard working individual who was a keen learner but above all her pleasant nature made her a great person to work with.
Dr Shivani Hemant Bhatt was an excellent, dedicated and one of the outstanding student of college in last few years. She was very brilliant and genius in her academics and highly skilled as a clinical student. She was an inspirational source and a role model for the students who wanted to pursue their further studies abroad and join residency program at International level. She had enthusiasm, humility and compassion to serve the medical profession.
Shivani was holy soul who came on earth for few years but left memorable imprint on all of us. I believe myself lucky enough that she was my student.
शिवानी मेरी प्रिय छात्रा रही है। वह हंसमुख, जिज्ञासु,आज्ञाकारी, अनुशासित एवं संवेदनशील थी। उसके मोती जैसे सुंदर अक्षर आज भी आंखों में बसे हैं।उसकी हीरे जैसी चमकती आंखों में भविष्य के सुनहरे सपने थे। शिवानी मुझे तुम पर गर्व है।
Shivani Bhatt, a friend on whom I could always depend. Always having my back. A child like fun attitude but mentally stronger than anyone for making tough decisions. One lesson out of many I learnt from her is to put in your best efforts then nothing is impossible.
A smile so infectious, a persona so healing and a talent so rare, there was no surprise how you managed to be everyone's favorite so effortlessly! I met her during my rotations at Cleveland clinic for a month, and I could have never expected to meet a best friend at that place. From helping me ace my exam to preparing the residency application together, she had an ever lasting impact on me. I can never imagine it ended so soon, but I am sure you will realise your dream of healing countless lives and making this world a better place to live, via the Shivani Bhatt foundation.
Dr. Shivani Bhatt, A great doctor and an exceptional human being. An inspiration to many in all the aspects of life be it studies, career or friendships. Strong minded and practical in every decisions she had to take throughout her career.
What I love the most about Shivani was the fact that she dared to live & lead her life on her own terms and stand tall during uncertainties. A fearless, loving, and compassionate soul who knew how to make the most of every moment. It was easy to look at her and sense that she was meant for big things as she dared to take on the world. I'm fortunate I had the chance to meet her. She has unknowingly made me fear uncertainties less, dream bigger, live larger, and love endlessly. Thank you Shivani, we love you.
