DR. SHIVANI BHATT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION (SBCF), ANAND was formed on 30/01/2020. It is headed by a board of 10 members, who all are respected persons of society. All the members are committed to do activities pertaining to social welfare. The foundation is headed by renowned surgeon of Anand – Dr. Hemant Bhatt, who is father of Late Dr. Shivani Bhatt.
SBCF was formed with the main agenda of uplifting health status of the underprivileged and for promoting education to the needy. In addition to these, SBCF is committed to help differently abled children regarding their nutrition & education.
As Shivani always wanted to help her countrymen to get admissions in Medical Schools in USA, this foundation has taken up responsibility to fulfill her wish. SBCF will help, assist and guide medical aspirants from all over India for observerships in USA with the help and guidance of our overseas friends. These services of SBCF are absolutely free of cost and are solely intended to help meritorious students. Even in these Corona times, SBCF has managed to send six meritorious medical graduates from India to USA for their Observership courses since it’s inception.
SBCF has started a very successful project STUTI (Shivani Teachers Undertaking Training Initiative), which incorporates training of teachers in various subjects by highly qualified, experienced & renowned faculties.
In addition, SBCF is doing various other charitable activities also, like felicitating meritorious students, providing scholarships to needy students, providing health care at concessional rates, providing preowned medical books at concessional rates etc.
