Successfully completed life support training program “ જીવન સંજીવની “ to staff of M B Patel Science College, Anand. More than 90 people have learned the course.
SBCF in association with Charotar Education Society & Sanjivani Trust conducted Cervical Cancer Vaccination Camp at D N High School, Anand on 11th July 2024. Total 200 young & adolescents girls have been given first dose of HPV vaccine at extremely discounted cost. Futher doses will be given to all these girls at the stipulated time.

Volunteers from GCET engineering college, V V Nagar will accompany them & will prepare information
videos about each place & will run on SMS bus TV .
At the end of each trip students will be asked to draw about their visit & will make a scrap book . The top three students will be felicitated .
Will also conduct quiz after field trips to check the knowledge of students & will be felicitate accordingly.

& surrounding areas under its project
SHIVANI INITIATIVE for EYE HEALTH (SHINE)
under the able guidance of Dr Hetal Prajapati.
Till date we have examined 3497 students, out of which 51 students were detected having colour
blindness ( partial & total ) . SBCF will do counselling to these children along with their parents by expert Ophthalmologists as well as by career counsellors .

SHIVANI INITIATIVE for EYE HEALTH (SHINE) Till date we have examined 6515 students, out of which 456 students were diagnosed having Myopia (blurred far vision) & they were provided customised
spectacles free of cost by the Foundation.

due to social limitations.
Under the aegis of SMILE(Shivani Memorial Initiative for Life Empowerment) project, SBCF will help such needy patients every year corresponding with the mortal age of Dr Shivani . This year we are planning of 28
patients to be benefited under this scheme.

𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 Dear Friends, SBCF humbly feels proud for completion of the Ophthalmic examination of more than 6000 students of Municipal schools of Anand till date, out of which 400 students have been provided glasses under its Shivani Initiative for Eye Health (SHINE) project. In continuation of SHINE project, SBCF is planning to detect colour blindness amongst school going children of Anand. The Aims of this Project are : ⁃ Detection of colour blindness amongst children at early age. ⁃ Counselling parents regarding this congenital deficiency. ⁃ Counselling teachers about their approach to students with this ailment. ⁃ Guidance regarding career selection for these students. ⁃ Providing assisted devices to these students in future, if available.
