Happy to share that I concluded my 1 month observership under Dr. Meherwan Joshi.
I was also fortunate to get a chance to shadow Dr. Nilesh Patel at the clinic.
It was an explicit learning experience personally. Dr. Joshi has a sound clinical knowledge and advocates evidence-based medicine with due concern for patient preference and compliance.
The same goes for Dr. Patel.
Despite their busy schedule, both of them ensured my active participation in learning from each case by asking questions and discussing relevant physical findings.
In addition to a treasure of clinical pearls, the observership helped me gain an insight into standard management and administration protocols that are practised in a US hospital-affiliated outpatient setting.
Special mention to Mr. Jose Nieves who was very supportive and accomodating throughout.
The staff was lovely and I learnt a lot from our interactions as well.
I would like to thank you and the SBCF family from the bottom of my heart for providing this golden opportunity. You have looked after me as a father during the past few months and words fall short of conveying how comforting and secure it made me feel. Shivani didi continues to stay in my thoughts and I will strive to fulfill her aspirations to the best of my capacity.
