I had the incredible opportunity to shadow Dr. Deval and Dr. Prahlad at NJ Primary Care for a month, gaining insights into the nuances of primary care. During this period, I interacted with a diverse group of patients from various parts of the world, enriching my clinical knowledge and understanding of patient-centered care. I also volunteered as part of the 'Let’s Save Maa' breast cancer awareness program, where I helped educate the community about common diseases and the importance of early detection in breast cancer. Additionally, I had the chance to connect with other physicians by volunteering at the Women Physicians of New Jersey meet—a truly inspiring experience. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Hemant Bhatt and the SBCF team for providing this invaluable opportunity, which not only enhanced my medical knowledge but also allowed me to build meaningful professional relationships. It was a rewarding experience, filled with learning, teamwork, and growth.
